Athirappilly Waterfalls
Athirappilly falls, also known as the "Niagara of India" is approx. 20 mts drive from this resort. It's a marvelous cascade of water stream from the Western Ghats. Athirappilly falls flows through the lush green forest is a breath taking sight. It is one of those ideal places for a perfect family trip. It's the largest water falls in kerala which stands tall at 80 feet and 330 ft wide. Vazhachal Water falls
Vazhachal water falls is just 3km away from Athirappilly water falls and both the falls could be seen on one visit. These water falls become also famous for the endemic species of hornbills found in the surrounding dense forests.
Malakkappara
Malakkappara is a small hill station and tourist destination. The journey to Malakkapara passes through the rain forest. The presence of elephants in the forest will make the journey an exciting one. The area consists of the tea estate owned by Tata Tea, forest area of Kerala Forest Department.
